Scheduling & Planning


GUARDIAN provides a powerful Planning screen that allows the Planner to manage large numbers of work orders quickly and efficiently. The Planner can configure all aspects of how the screen operates, from the data that gets loaded in the screen, to the columns of information that are displayed, to the sorting and grouping of the work orders displayed. Update, print and monitor all of your work orders from one screen!

For those that want even more power, you can open more than one Planning Window.  For example if you plan by Trade:

  • Open a Planning Window
  • Filter it by the trade you wish to plan for
  • Add the additional filters for specific dates and to display only Work Requests
  • Open a SECOND Planning Window and filter it the same as the first, except display only Active work orders.
  • You will get a total of hours in both windows, and as you change the status of work orders from Work Request to Active, you will be able to see how it affects the total amount of work assigned to the trade you selected.

This is only one of countless ways that you can use the many features of the Planning Window.
